Etymology

The term combines "Haj", an honorific given to Muslims who have successfully performed the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, and "Qassem", an Arabic given name meaning "to cut, to divide" or a common reference to the iconic Iranian commander Qasem Soleimani.
