Telegnosis
/ˌtɛlɪɡˈnoʊsɪs/
EN
Paranormal knowledge of distant events or objects obtained without the use of ordinary sensory perception; a form of extrasensory perception.
Many parapsychology studies have attempted to objectively measure the existence of telegnosis.
Etymology
Coined from the Greek roots têle, meaning 'far off', and gnōsis, meaning 'knowledge', the term emerged in 19th-century parapsychological literature to describe distant psychic knowledge.
